Greetings in the lovely and matchless name of Jesus Christ.
The topic of teaching on Sunday was “Forgiveness” so our MMV this week speaks of this as well. Here is the verse:
Colossians 3:13 Amplified Bible (AMP)
13 Be gentle and forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive].
It is a command for us to walk in forgiveness and in order for us to walk as a true disciple (one who follows Jesus) then we must do this as well. This is not to say that it is always easy to do but, never the less, it is possible no matter what the circumstances may be.
Jesus suffered, bled, was mocked, endured great pain, beaten, sweat blood, was ridiculed, spat upon and hung on the Cross and was tortured. (Read Isaiah 53) Some of His final words were, as He looked down at all who had inflicted all these things upon Him, were “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
READ IT – WRITE IT – SAY IT – SING IT – PRAY IT and after you’ve done all these then WALK IT OUT (Put in into practice).
Much love and blessings,
Michael & Kathy
