MMV – John 15: 4-5

Greetings in the lovely and matchless name of Jesus Christ.

The 15th chapter of John has always inspired and encouraged me to draw nearer to Jesus and “abide” in Him and I believe that He is calling to His church in this hour to “abide” in His love and grow deeper in intimacy.
Our MMV for this week is two verses actually but they go together. So here they are. “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. ” (John 15:4, 5 NASB)
Let’s give Jesus at least 10 minutes of silence before we READ IT – WRITE IT – SAY IT – SING IT – PRAY IT.
Much love and blessings,
Michael & Kathy

It does raise a lot of questions ones I do not know I can aesnwr. Perhaps part of the aesnwr is found in the passage in Philippians where it tells us that Jesus emptied Himself. Maybe in relating to us, God sets aside some of His divine attributes, without losing His divine nature, so that there can be mtual interaction between Himself and His creation. This, of course, is speculation the vain attempt to hold two truths God’s divine attributes and His relating to us in our hands at the same time.I suppose we can either allow our inability to understand God to lead us into frustration and futility or we can allow it to lead us into worship. Would I really want a God if He was small enough for me to understand?

The real question for Obama to answer?Spring of 1980 was registered at Occidental as Barry Soetoro–then two months later, July 30, 1980 registered for the draft as Barrack Obama—then less than one month later in 1980 registered again at Occidental for the fall semester as Barry Soetoro????????????
