MMV – Isaiah 40:28

At the end of our worship time on Sunday, the Holy Spirit instructed us to wait in silence for 10 minutes and see what He would speak to us.  Out of that time the Holy Spirit spoke these verses (Isaiah 40:28-31) with an emphasis on verse 28 and that verse is our MMV for this week.

Isaiah 40:28 (NIV)
28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the Everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

In this verse there are three names or descriptions of who God is.  THE LORD – THE EVERLASTING GOD – THE CREATOR.
As we READ IT – WRITE IT – SAY IT- SING IT- PRAY IT I would like us all to meditate on these three facets during our time with this exercise.

In addition please use this week to establish your habit of spending 10 minutes in silence before the Lord .   Allow your heart and spirit to soak in His Presence.  ASK the Holy Spirit to speak to you, ( John 10:27 ) just like the boy Samuel did as he lay on the floor next to the Ark of His Presence.  His response was “Speak Lord for your servant it listening”.  Could we humble ourselves and have this same expectation and desire in us.  Let’s find out.
1 Samuel 3:10
“The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

Much love and blessings to you,
Michael & Kathy
